Modern Coast Rangers Football Club head Coach Ahmed Mohammed popularly known as Mohaa has left the club for KPL side Wazito FC as an assistant coach. According to Futaa.com, Mohaa left the club to join Wazito FC who will now be contesting in the Kenya Premier League in the 2018 season, so as to gain more exposure in his life as a football caoch. "I am pleased to announce that after successful negotiations I have accepted an offer to join Kenya Premier League debutants Wazito. I thank the almighty God for the far he has taken me. I wish also to thank the entire management and the playing unit of Modern Coast Rangers fc for their cooperation and support," he stated.Modern Coast Rangers FC secretary general Ferdinand Ogot confirmed the move by Mohaa saying he (Mohaa) found greener pasture and the club had to set him free. "Mohaa had a running contract with the club till next year but we decided to release him after he got a better offer at Wazito. As Modern Coast Rangers family we wish him well in his furniture endeavor's," Ogot saidMohaa joined Modern Coast Rangers in 2004 after the resignation of coach Abdulnassir Kassim.While at Rangers Mohaa groomed several players including Eric Kibiru who later joined Bandari and Francis Ochola who moved to Sofapaka.
