Likoni MP Mishi Mboko has asked President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto not to waste their time campaigning in Coast region ahead of the repeat presidential poll.

Mboko says that Coast is locked in NASA and no amount of Jubilee persuasion will lure locals to vote for UhuRuto.

Speaking to journalists in Mombasa on Saturday, Mboko said that NASA will garner 100 percent of votes in Coast.

"Jubilee should stop wasting time trooping to the Coast because their mission of getting votes will fail terribly," she said as quoted by the People Daily.

Mboko accused the ruling government of allegedly using the money to woo for votes.

The Likoni MP said that UhuRuto's  time in government is up, adding that Raila Odinga will win repeat presidential election on October 17.

Mboko urged Coast residents and Kenyans at large to maintain peace as they wait for the repeat poll.

On Friday deputy president William Ruto during a meeting with Jubilee officials in Mombasa urged residents to vote for president Uhuru Kenyatta.

DP Ruto said that Jubilee has development agenda compared to the opposition which he accused of propagating empty rhetoric.

During the meeting, Tourism  Cabinet Secretary (CS) was appointed to lead  Jubilee campaigns in Mombasa replacing businessman Suleiman Shahbal who lost in the Mombasa governor race.
