[Photo/COG]The Council of Governors (CoG) on Tuesday held the 2nd Fifth Devolution conference multi-agency planning committee meeting which will lead to 2018 Devolution Conference scheduled for later this year on a date to be announced soon. Chaired by CoG chairman Turkana Governor Josphat Nanok, several stakeholders and representatives from various government ministries were present.They include USAID - Kenya, Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries; Ministry of Industry, Trade and Cooperatives; Ministry of Health; Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure; Ministry of Devolution and Planning among others.CoG also held a consultative meeting with USAID Kenya officials on the proposed MOU between USAID and County Governments.
