The Garissa Technical Training College on Thursday got a major boost after a foundation made several key donations to help it deliver quality education skills.

The Aga Khan Foundation gave the institution 15 computers,30 sewing machines and three printers among several items in a bid to boost the learner's practical skills.

According to the college's deputy principal Abdi Daganey,the items are a welcome relief for the institution and the students and will go along way in ensuing that quality education is welcome.

"I want to thank the Aga Khan Foundation for this good gesture,the items they have brought to our institution will go a long way in ensuring that our learners acquire the basic practical skills are realized," he said.

On his part,the programme manager for the improvement of social and economic opportunities for the youth in Northern Kenya Mohammed Ali Mwachausa reiterated that the items would facilitate quality training in the college.
