Wiper leaders have called upon  Machakos Senator Johnson Muthama to return to the party ahead of the next general elections.

NASA Deputy President Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka said that he has nothing personal against Muthama, adding that he appreciates his support.

His remarks were reiterated by Mombasa Senator Omar Hassan who said that it will be hard to campaign for Cord leader Raila Odinga if Muthama sticks to his word.

“Senator Muthama, Wiper is not in a fight with you. I ask you to come back. I have made this appeal to you in private and public. You cannot campaign for Raila Odinga, who is Nasa presidential candidate without campaigning for Mr Musyoka, they are tied on the hip,” he said as quoted by Standard.

Kalonzo also said that he does not like the idea of exchanging words with other leaders especially those who have helped him to reach his current position.

“I don’t know how to throw stones at people. I love my opponents whether in Nasa or Jubilee,” said Mr Musyoka.

Muthama had said that he will campaign for Raila but not defend his senatorial seat in the forthcoming general polls.
