According to Bungoma County Senator Weta Mtetezi as he is popularly referred to in the Western region, Sonko has completed his mission and now it is time for him to go back home where he belongs.

There have been claims that the Nairobi Senator has plans of ditching his current coalition and join the opposition on condition that Kalonzo Musyoka is declared the party’s flag bearer.

There is no doubt that Sonko is among the most influential politicians in Ukambani and his decision can change the face of the nation overnight.

However, the senator has come out to deny the rumors doing rounds all over social media and other platforms. Sonko said that he is concentrating on serving the Nairobi people and he is in jubilee to stay.

Despite his stand, several leaders from the opposition have continued to call upon him to leave jubilee for Cord. In case this happens, then there are high chances that Orange Democratic Party (ODM) will lose its gubernatorial seat in Nairobi.
