Uasin Gishu County Speaker Isaac Terer has urged Kenyans to come out and register as voters in the mass voter registration exercise that will commence on Monday 16th.

He says this will ensure Kenyans fully participate in the country’s democratic process of choosing leaders of their choice. 

"If you don’t register as a voter, how will you participate in choosing the right leaders to govern this country?” Said Terer while addressing Keses residents on Saturday. 

He added, "Bad leaders are chosen by good people who don't vote, therefore come out and register, ".

Terer reiterated that the process will take only one month and will not be repeated until August elections are conducted.

“It is the 30 days that will determine the winner of the election,” he noted.

IEBC will commence a countrywide second mass voter registration registration on 16th January to 14th February, where Kenyans have been urged to go and register.
