Kisii residents have been challenged to come out in large numbers on 4th May that is tomorrow for the free Cancer camp at Tabaka.
According to Kisii county, Cabinet secretary for Health Sarah Omache and founder of African Arts Promotion Network Elkan Ong'esa, they have challenged the residents to make sure that on Wednesday they came out in their numbers so that they can be tested and screened.
Speaking to the press, they said that they have organised the free camp on 4th May so as to reach residents who want to know their Cancer status which is very important .
“This free cancer camp has been organised so that we can reach all residents and this is one way of creating awareness about Cancer,” said Omache.
On another hand, Elkana Ong’esa who he challenged residents to make an effort of attending the free camp at Tabaka which is a one-day event.
“We have all the measures in place all the people who will attend the free camp are welcomed since we want to create awareness of this disease,” said Ong’esa.
In addition, he said that it will be a one-day event so it means that residents should come out in large numbers for testing and screening.
