Comedian Eric Omondi was on Monday morning arrested while on his way to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
Omondi was arrested by a traffic police officer while trying to overlap along the busy Nairobi-Mombasa highway.
The cop had trailed him on his motorbike.
The former comedian revealed his arrest on Instagram where he explained he was trying to over-lap trailers which had lined up due to a crazy traffic jam for being late to the airport.
"Haki huyu polisi ananishika ati overlapping na nimechelewa Airport,"(This police is arresting me for overlapping yet I am running late to the Airport.) wrote Omondi.
The comedian was however released few minutes after his arrest thanks to his celebrity.
