Naivasha sub-county Commissioner Abraham Kemboi has challenged residents to embrace unity and live in peace.
Commissioner Kemboi told Journalists today (Tuesday) at his office that locals have no option but to embrace and appreciate each other.
Kemboi warned that the government will not tolerate people whom he said are rumour mongering and spreading propaganda.
He said that investigations have been launched to ascertain claims that some people in the sub-county are spreading hate messages which could incite people to begin conflict.
“The government will not allow few individuals or groups to disrupt peace that we are enjoying,” Commissioner Kemboi.
Kemboi added that the government will continue to introduce security measures that will promote peace and order in the area.
At the same time, Kemboi urged Police officers to dedicate themselves to work and solve some security mysterious in the area.
