Uasin Gishu County commissioner Abdi Hassan has warned politicians against issuing inciting utterances during as they campaign.He says anybody found will face, full force of the law.Speaking at his office in Eldoret town, Hassan warned aspirants eyeing various elective posts, against using youths to cause violence and disrupt competitors in political rallies."I want to issue a stern warning to politicians used to thriving in hate speech and incitement that this time round we will not tolerate them," warned Hassan."The full force of the law will take effect to anybody who will be found making utterances that risk plunging our county into tribal hatred and violence," he added.This comes after a human rights Organisation in Eldoret town urged the National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC) and the County's Security Committee to investigate two main gubernatorial aspirants, governor Jackson Mandago and business mogul Bundotich Kiprop for allegedly conducting politics that risk causing tribal differences.
