Speaking on Tuesday during a Peace meeting in Gilgil, the DCC cautioned politicians against utterances that are likely to create hatred among Kenyans.
“This is a time that we are headed to the elections and nominations just around the corner, but let us avoid malpractices that may hinder peace. Those who will be found engaging in hatespeech, incitement will face the law,” he said.
The meeting was attended by various political aspirants.
All the aspirants and other leaders who attended the meeting vowed to preach and maintain peace while promoting unity among the residents.
