Election observers from the Commonwealth have called for calm across the country as IEBC prepares to announce the outcome of the presidential race.
Speaking on Thursday, led by former Ghanian President John Mahama, the observers said that the country my proceeds from the polls.
“Kenya must not bend because of an election, Kenya must survive,” said Mahama during a press conference at the Crowne Plaza Hotel.
Mahama said that the observer group is so far satisfied with how the IEBC has conducted the election process and believes in the commission to deliver credible results.
He also urged the aggrieved parties to follow the right procedures to make their complains as the law provides an avenue for them to lay out their grievances and no Kenyan blood should be shed at the expense of an aggrieved party.
