Association chairman, Jack Maina, says the constituency should have more health centres to cope with the health challenges facing local residents.

“We need more health centres to help our residents achieve basic health care,” he said.

Speaking at Wanyoro B location after opening a dispensary, Maina said that the constituency has few health facilities which is making difficult for the residents to access health care.

“Our first priority to the county government is to construct additional health centres. They should also renovate the existing ones,” said Maina.

He noted that many residents walk for several kilometres to get health attention at Bahati Health Centre. Maina urged the residents to support the county government in its effort of transforming the constituency into an economic giant.

‘It is a pity to see women walking ten kilometres in search of health care. We will work with county government to bring development for the benefits of all residents,” said Maina.
