Garissa Township MP elect Aden Duale has asked NASA presidential flag bearer Raila Odinga to provide evidence of rigging in the presidential election and stop holding the country at ransom.
Speaking to journalists after being declared winner of the Garissa seat ion Wednesday, Duale claims that Raila’s hacking claims are pure propaganda.
Duale claims that NASA is in shock with Presidential Uhuru Kenyatta’s huge lead in the presidential election.
“NASA did not think Uhuru was going to defeat hands-down and they are now in shock with the presidential provisional results” he said as quoted by the Daily Nation.
Duale said that it is time Raila and NASA leaders respected the choice of Kenyans.
He asked NASA to allow IEBC to complete its work and seek redress in court if not satisfied with the presidential results.
Duale at the same time urged Kenyans to remain peaceful and shun any calls from the opposition to protest over the presidential results.
The MP elect further appealed to Kenyans to report to their various work stations and continue with their duties, saying that there is adequate security.
NASA has rejected the provisional presidential results being steamed by the IEBC claiming that the results have been cooked.
On Wednesday NASA alleged that intruders hacked into EBC servers interfering with the results.
IEBC says that it has not received NASA’s formal complaint alleged hacking.
This comes as election observer gave IEBC thumbs up saying the commission conducted free, fair and credible polls.
The observe groups want the opposition to seek court redress id dissatisfied with the presidential results.
