Kwale Governor Salim Mvurya has asked NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga to concede defeat if loses in Tuesday’s election.

Addressing supporters in Kwale town on Saturday, Mvurya said the former Prime Minister (PM) has a tendency of disputing poll results. The county boss said Raila must be ready to accept the outcome of the polls and seek legal redress in case he is dissatisfied with the results.“I am asking Raila Odinga to be man enough and concede defeat if he loses to President Uhuru Kenyatta on Tuesday,” said Mvurya, as quoted by the Standard.Mvurya said even though Uhuru has made it clear he will accept the outcome of the poll and hand over power peacefully if he loses, NASA does not stand a chance on unseating Jubilee. The rebel ODM governor asked Raila to prepare to be in the opposition for another five years, arguing that Jubilee has the numbers to ensure Uhuru retains his seat.Mvurya, who is Jubilee’s point man in Kwale, promised to deliver the county’s votes to Uhuru, adding that the Coast region will overwhelmingly vote for President Uhuru on Tuesday. He also urged residents to support his re-election bid, promising to push for more development projects.Mvurya will battle it out with ODM’s Issa Chipera and Chirau Ali Mwakwere of Wiper.
