Dagoretti North MP Simba Arati has been urged to concentrate on Nairobi politics and keep off affairs of Kisii County.
Mr Naftal Obwocha an ODM activist in a Facebook post said that Mr Arati should stop questioning the performance of Governor Ongwae.
He instead asked Mr Arati to question Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko.
"We don't want to see Mr Arati who claims to be the Gusii spokesperson going around questioning the performance of governor James Ongwae. These are things that he should be doing in Nairobi," said Mr Obwocha.
Mr Obwocha argued that Governor Ongwae's opponents were out to frustrate Governor Ongwae and his deputy.
“We know very well that Ongwae’s opponents are hiding in Arati to frustrate Ongwae’s leadership but that will not give fruits because Ongwae was elected by a majority of the Kisii residents who were satisfied with his leadership in the first term,” he added.
