A Kisii based activist has asked Jubilee leaders to concentrate on fulfilling the promises they made to Kenyans and stop being personal.

Ms Rachael Otundo who ran for the the Nyaribari Chache parliamentary seat on a Kenya National Congress (KNC) ticket alleged that Jubilee party for being personal by planning to oust Chief Justice David Maraga. 

"Jubilee party's top leadership wants to control the country as a personal kiosk and we shall not accept that," she said. 

Yesterday opposition leaders claimed that their was a scheme by Jubilee party to oust Mr Maraga from office.

Their claims came barely a day after Mr Raphael Tuju, who is the Jubilee party secretary general wrote a letter to the CJ accusing him of favouring the opposition.

Last year, Justice Maraga nullified President Kenyatta's win and ordered that a fresh election is conducted.

An angered President Kenyatta after the ruling said that after the fresh elections if he will be voted as President he shall revisit the Judiciary.

However, Ms Otundo said that Jubilee leaders should seize from being personal and instead champion for development in the country. 

"Jubilee elected leaders should stop their ill plans and unite the divided country after last year’s prolonged divisive elections,” she said.
