Omar’s remarks come shortly after Mutua told Kalonzo Musyoka to issue an official apology for linking him to the kidnapping allegations.

Omar has told Mutua to focus his attention on clearing his name from several court charges against him for misusing public financial resources.

He further pointed out that Mutua is trying to play victim in the graft cases facing him saying that he should submit to the justice system. He added that some of the accusations leveled against Mutua are glaring theft.

“You know now what he is trying to do is say that it is cry victim, I am a victim of sabotage, I am a victim of propaganda, there is no victim,” he said.

Omar told journalists that Mutua has been evading prosecution since 2014, accusing the courts of falling into his tricks of repeatedly stopping his prosecution whenever he is obligated to answer the cases.

“The courts have stopped his prosecution once or twice and that is where we have issues with the courts, they should not allow themselves to procrastinate prosecution,” said Omar.
