Kisii county Jubilee interim secretary Samuel Nyangeso has challenged politicians in Gusii region and in the country to conduct peaceful election campaigns and distance themselves from chaos in the next general election.
Speaking on Monday in Kisii town Nyangeso warned politicians over using youths to engage in violence or in propagating hate speeches to others and told politicians to also have peaceful campaigns since many have invested in the country.
“We need peace in our country and this nation is small investors have invested and if we engage in violence they will go and we shall lose more jobs and suffer as Kenyans,” said Nyangeso.
“Please do not use our youths in violence let all of us embrace peace as we move forward,” he added.
Nyangeso also called on Gusii youths to acquire voting cards to elect development oriented leaders in the next general election who will foster development in the next five years.
