Confusion and anxiety has gripped Kiambu County yet again following the disappearance of another aspirant eyeing the Ikinu Ward seat.
Kennedy Kinyanjui Kabaka reportedly went missing Monday night, after his car was found abandoned by the roadside within Githunguri.
The car's windshield was reportedly smashed, and two mobile phones and cash believed to be Kabaka's were recovered in the vehicle.
According to Central region police chief Larry Kiyeng, Investigations have been launched.
The incident comes just two days after another aspirant eyeing the Kabete parliamentary seat mysteriously went missing.
Charles Chege alias "Chege Fresh" was allegedly kidnapped last week, before he was found alive in Narok on Saturday.
According to police reports, Chege was found near a dam in Narok town, and was taken to Narok County Referral Hospital.
He was seeking to replace Ferdinand Waititu who is eyeing the Kiambu gubernatorial seat.
