(Photo/KNA.)There was confusion on Wednesday morning after KCSE exam papers for four secondary schools in Igembe sub-county, Meru county were discovered at a storage center in Marsabit central sub-county.Marsabit central director of education Abdi Goto confirmed the incident and said the sealed carton contained exam papers for biology and agriculture subjects for Akuune mixed secondary, Kamiruru mixed secondary, Kabururo and K.K. Aaru secondary schools.The officer noted that biology paper 2 and agriculture paper 1 examination papers were packed in a carton bearing the code for Marsabit central.The papers were discovered at 6 am when the container was opened for exam officials to pick the papers.“The extra carton bearing Marsabit central examination code 16305 instead of Kangeta DCC's collection center code 15362 was discovered when the container was opened for exam officials to pick the papers,” he said.Area deputy county commissioner Joseph Nyakwara said the exams for Meru were dispatched using helicopter since the exams were to be done today.Nyakwara assured that the exercise was ongoing smoothly.
