The family of the Kenya's renowned boxer, Conjestina Achieng' has publicly come out to dispel the rumours that she is dead.
Her kinsmen said the information being circulated in various social media platforms about the female boxer’s death are simply lies.
According to William Ochieng', the boxers elder brother, the information regarding her bad health status is being spread by Achieng's haters who are out to grab her Nairobi assets, especially her piece of land.
"Quite a number of people have been uttering some things which are not true. Achieng’ is still alive despite the fact that her medical problems still persist," read a statement from Ochieng.
The boxer’s brother said that the news could be emanating from his sister's haters, who he says have been involved in court battles with the boxer over her land in Summer Estate in Nairobi.
"This is the fifth time such allegations have been made. As her elder brother, I have discovered that her enemies are happy when she is not doing well,’’ stated Ochieng.
The family has given a stern warning to various sources of the false information and has threatened to move to court if that is what it will take to silence them.
