The man alleged that he could offer a job with a leading insurance firm based in Nairobi.

"Once I was in Town, he asked me to meet him at AMACO next to Hilton, he said he was picking up insurance for the apparent company i was to apply to," she added.

She was then asked to write an application letter, once at it the man borrowed her phone only to disappear in a few minutes.

"He asked me to write an application letter to the company and borrowed my phone to call someone, while I was writing, he took off with the phone and by the time I noticed it was too late," she added.
