Conselus Kipruto to compete in Shanghai League

Commonwealth Games champion Conselus Kipruto will start his chase of Diamond League in Shanghai, slated for 12 May.Kipruto will skip IAAF Diamond league in Doha Qatar slated for next month, which will give him time to recover after triumphing in Gold coast Australia.Kipruto says he wants to run 5000m which is a flat race to regain.He also said that this will help to prepare well for 3000m steeplechase in Eugene Diamond League which will also determine his chase for the record. “I will start in Shanghai 5000m then I will go for Eugene for 3000m steeplechase that will be my first after gold coast then one week later I will run in Rome. After that, I will then come to prepare for Rabat,” said Kipruto.He added that he is in good shpae now, but he still wants to work hard and train well.“My body is in shape , I want to take care of myself”.
