Kisii Central ward representative Wilfred Monyenye has appealed to the government to construct a roundabout at Daraja Moja near kisii town to reduce frequent accident in the area.
Speaking to journalist at Daraja Moja after an accident at Daraja Moja, Monyenye noted that accidents will reduce if a roundabout is constructed and appealed to the government to construct it to save many lives.
“I can say Daraja Moja is black spot of because accidents have been occurring quite frequently, let the government look for money and construct a huge roundabout to reduce the number of accidents,” noted Monyenye.
The MCA hailed Kisii level six health workers for the response they showed in serving the casualties of the accident that took place at daraja Moja on Wednesday.
The accident involved tujijenge mini bus that was coming from Nairobi to Kisii and injured 34 passengers who were immediately taken to Kisii level six hospitals for treatment .
