Speaking to this reporter on Tuesday at the market, businessmen led by John Obiri said once it rains they can’t conduct their business as usual since the market is not constructed.

“We are asking our county Governor James Ongwae to construct us the market, we have a large market piece of land but not constructed like other markets in the county,” said John Obiri.

“As you can see by yourself the market has no shades we are suffering let the county take the responsibility of initiating development projects," he added.

They also appealed to the county government to select specific market days in a week when the businessmen should conduct their business.

“We have no specific market days here at Gesieka we urge the county to select market days because we are always here every day,” said Jane Ong’ondi.
