Machakos Governor Dr. Alfred Mutua has advertised tenders for a road he said he will name after comedian Churchill Ndambuki during his birthday.

According to the second time county boss, the work on the project is expected to kick off in one or two months.

“The tender for the road I promised our Machakos kid & super Star, @ MwalimuChurchill during his birthday party, has been advertised. Work to start in a month or two then it is Chap Chap. # KusemaNa Kutenda,” he wrote.

Mutua said that he will name the road after the comedian because he has mentored many youths and placed the county on the map of this nation and the entire world.

“What you have done for this country is great and I promise to tarmac and name the road that leads to your home after you,” said Mutua.

The county boss has also expressed his commitment to supporting different projects in various parts of the region. He made history when he tarmacked a road in the shortest duration in the nation.
