Kitutu Chache North Member of parliament Jimmy Angwenyi has assured tea farmers in the constituency that the construction of the proposed Sombogo tea factory will commence soon
Speaking in his constituency the legislature said he has put all measures in place over the construction of the tea factory.
“I know many of the area tea farmers have waited for the construction of the factory in this constituency for a long period but let me assure you as your Mp that the construction will commence as soon as possible,” said Angwenyi.
The area tea farmers have been experiencing losses since they take their tea leaves to a different area buying centers and stay for more than two to three days without being collected to Tombe factory which is too far away from the constituency.
The lawmaker also said that soon all the roads that were launched in the constituency when President Uhuru Kenyatta visited the constituency will commence being tarmacked to ease the transportation sector.
“As your Mp I need to do developments for you according to the pledges I gave you during the last election campaign and I will fulfill them successfully,” added Angwenyi.
