The controversy surrounding the dramatic arrest and detention of outspoken lawyer Miguna Miguna has taken another twist with the revelation that he has been charged in a Kajiado court.

The State Lawyer from the Director of Public Prosecutions office has given the public a sense of Miguna's charge sheet.

Miguna Miguna has been charged on three counts:

1) Consenting to administer an oath to commit a capital offence.

2) Taking part in an unlawful assembly.

3) Professing to be a member of the National Resistance Movement, an unlawful group.
