The campaign branded 'Small groups discussion on Health Related Issues' has seen students gather in small groups to discuss matters related to health. The current campaign is aimed at educating students about contraceptives, owing to the high number of pregnancies and also credit to the fact that most students are sexually active.

Students meet informally, for instance in their own rooms to have these discussions.

“We aim at giving out information on contraceptives free pf Charge,” said Arnold Omondi, an ICL counsellor.

According to health practitioners working with ICL, most contraceptives pose no or little threats to users' health.

“People should stop myths to do with contraceptives,” added Omondi.

A woman is able to get pregnant after using contraceptives. Problems associated with contraceptives are mostly personal, though not severe. These may be irritations, but very few people experience them.

Most students have warmly welcomed the campaign and urge the organisation to hold community programs on the same, in an effort to give back to the community.
