A policeman Wednesday, shot a bar owner before shooting himself dead in Molo sub-county after he failed to pay Sh430 alcohol bill.Isaac Wanjala, who was based at Elburgon Police Station allegedly was irked by the bar owner, Sammy Osoro, who confiscated his phone when he failed to pay the bill at around 2:25 am.According to Osoro, the policeman had a tendency of failing to clear bills which prompted him to call the station's OCS who advised him to take the phone.“On Wednesday, Wanjala came into the club and ordered some drinks. He bought me a bottle of beer and bought one for himself as well but when the waiter brought the bill, Wanjala refused to pay it,” Mr Osoro narrated to Citizen Digital.Confirming the incident, Molo OCPD, Daniel Kamanza, said that the main cause of the altercation is alcohol abuse.“Investigations show that the two did not have any history of arguments or strife. It was a decision purely influenced by too much alcohol intake,” Mr Kamanza added.Mr Osoro is nursing serious head injuries at the Nakuru Provincial Hospital.
