Police have recovered guns and hundreds of bullets after raiding a Malindi home alleged to belong to a well-known Nairobi businessman.
The businessman is said to be a billionaire and has been linked with politicians for years now.
According to the Star, heavily armed multi-agency officers arrived at the house Monday morning with court orders seeking to ransack it.
In the process, they five AK 47 guns with several rounds of ammunition.
Police suspect that the businessman has been working with cartels to bring guns into the country through different entry points.
In another well-coordinated raid, another group of police officers raided an Isiolo house where they recovered another unknown number of guns and bulltes.
