Siaya senator, James Orengo has said that Kenyans will do this and assemble peacefully as well as direct a great number of people.

‘’Kenyans will be doing this as we’ve done in the past in the exercise of their right to assemble peacefully,'' he said.

Mombasa governor, Hassan Joho said their intention is to march to the IEBC offices peacefully without disrupting anything and present their petition.

'‘We do not want to disturb the businesses, we do not want to disturb people. We want to walk peacefully to the IEBC, present our petition then walk back to our work places,’’ said Joho.

The coalition told the police to maintain security as they do not seek to harm anyone after last Monday’s protests left many injured and businesses looted.

Cord has been at war with the IEBC terming it as unworthy to conduct the 2017 general elections failry.

‘‘We are removing the team of IEBC for purposes of setting a clear ground for 2017,’’ said Timothy Bosire, the Kitutu Masaba MP.

Despite the protests, IEBC officials have said they are not going anywhere as they are not guilty of anything.
