Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka on Saturday took opposition campaigns to Kajiado County where he called on the Maasai community to support the opposition coalition during the August general elections.
The opposition leaders were in the county to officiate at a ceremony where Maasai morans were initiated to adulthood.
Maasai region has of late become a battle-ground for both Jubilee and Cord politicians seeking for support ahead of the much-awaited August polls.
Kalonzo was accompanied by Governors David Nkedianye (Kajiado) and Nadhif Jama (Garissa), Senator James Orengo (Siaya) and Kajiado Central MP Elijah Memusi.
The initiation ceremony, locally known as Onyersher Ememiri (graduation to adulthood) was held at Kisaju in Isinya, Kajiado County.
Memusi, who is area MP took over the leadership of the Kajiado Central after a by-election.
The by-election followed the appointment of former area MP Joseph Nkaissery to government as Interior Cabinet Secretary.
