The National Alliance (TNA) party has accused opposition leaders of hiring hooligans and goons to vandalise its Kibera office.
In a press statement to the media on Monday, TNA secretary general Onyango Oloo alleged that the goons stormed its Kibera office and vandalized property.
Oloo also claimed that the goons stole strategic documents at the office.
He claimed that the opposition wants to cripple TNA activities in Kibera ahead of the 2017 general elections.
Oloo claimed that the vandalism took place during anti-IEBC demonstrations staged by cord supporters on Monday.
The TNA secretary general also accused cord leaders of using their supporters to destabilize peace.
“Cord leaders and supporters are using the protests to destabilize peace and cause confusion,” he said.
He told Cord that their protests will not solve the issues they are raising against electoral commission.
On Monday, opposition leaders led its fourth anti-IEBC protests in Nairobi with demonstrators being dispersed by anti-riot police who engaged the protesters in running battles.
Similar protests were experienced in Kakamega, Kisumu, Siaya, Mombasa and Homabay.
Cord leader Raila Odinga has since condemned the police for being brutal on demonstrators saying that the brutality of the police will not deter them from conducting more anti-IEBC protests.
