ODM Party Chairman and Suba MP John Mbadi has been the latest leader from the Cord camp and specifically ODM to insist that the coalition is still strong.
Speaking in Kajiado on Monday while drumming up support for his party, the leader said the claims that the coalition is going down are just propaganda which has no basis further denying the accusations made by the Wiper party that ODM is planning to go alone in the next polls.
''There is no time that the Orange Party has spoken of going alone, all this is just propaganda created by a few individuals with an aim of breaking the coalition,'' he said.
The leader also defended the ODM political rallies that have been witnessed recently saying that they are just meant to strengthen the party ahead of the 2017 General Election.
''We have agreed to strengthen each party and that is why we are going round, we as ODM have our party flag-bearer who is Raila just like our allies Wiper and Ford-k have theirs too," he said
The statement is an echo to what Raila Odinga said on Saturday that all the parties have their preferred flag bearers but they will agree on the actual person when the time comes.
This also comes at a time when Wiper Party is threatening to exit the coalition unless Kalonzo gets the ticket.
