As the 2017 general elections draw nearer, aspirants in various parts of the country have been spending sleepless nights to diagnose the outcome of the elections in their designated seats.
Nickson Onundu a prominent businessman eyeing the Kisii Central ward seat in Kisii town has said that the votes in Kisii county are equal for Cord and Jubilee.
Speaking on Tuesday in Kisii town, Nyakweba said that the votes are as a result of the two coalitions Cord and Jubilee having popularity in the region.
"We cannot tell which coalition is stronger than the other because all the two have gained great popularity in the region," said Mr Onundu.
He added that Kisii region has a great population which can decide the fate of the various top seats in the country including the presidential seat since the region is not divided in terms of party popularity.
Mr Nyakweba has, therefore, urged the registered voters in Kisii county to choose leaders who will move the county and kenya to a next level, hence criticised some individuals and youths who seem to love parties.
He said that the love for parties should be a forgotten issue hence focus on leaders for development and not parties.
