The Cord Leader has called upon ODM to launch an investigation into the ongoing wrangles at the Kisumu County Assembly.

Speaking at the Kisumu County Assembly on Saturday, Raila Odinga said that ODM should form a task force which will should go ahead and investigate the wrangles between the MCAs in the County.

"We want to unite the leaders in this county so that they can go ahead and work on issues which will bring development to the people of Kisumu and hence works towards the ODM manifesto and also achieve the devolution goals," Odinga said.

Raila Odinga directed the ODM executive director Odour Ong'wen to immediately go ahead and form a committee that will go ahead and investigate the county assembly of Kisumu.

"We want the task force to be very operational and to unearth all the allegations of corruption and nepotism," Odinga said.

Raila was speaking in a meeting whose main agenda was to unite the MCAs and the County Executives.

Present during the meeting was Governor Ranguma, Deputy Governor Ruth Odinga, Assembly Speaker Ann Adul, MCAs, MP of Nyando Fred Outa and Nyakach Mp Aduma Owour.

Governor Ranguma went ahead and termed Raila's visit to the County assembly as historical and a very big encouragement to the MCAs and also the County Executives to work together towards bringing development to the County.
