Musila said Cord followers were anxious to know who will take on President Uhuru Kenyatta in next year's general election.

The Kitui senator was speaking on Thursday during the launch of Kalonzo Musyoka's website, www.kalonzomusyoka.co.ke

“People want to know who is our presidential candidate in 2017. We have had enough of this, walking and dancing together, now that everyone has declared their candidature, latest August this year, we want to know who will be the presidential candidate for Cord. Bite the bullet!” Musila said.

However, Kalonzo said it does not matter who will be Cord's flag bearer come 2017 polls.

“At the end of the day, it matters not who is the presidential flag bearer. I want to ask Kenyans and our followers to look at the Kenyan dream, not as Kalonzo, Raila, Wetangula. The three of us have decided to remain together,” the Wiper leader said.

In May 2016, three Wiper MPs accused ODM leader Raila Odinga of showing disrespect to Wiper leaders by treating them like flower girls rather than as equal partners in the coalition.

Kisio Munyao (Mbooni), Joe Mutambo (Mwingi Central) and Richard Makenga (Kaiti), accused Raila of reneging on a pledge to back Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka for president in next year’s general election in a Memorandum of Understanding agreed on by the two just before 2013 polls.

Raila was quoted saying the agreement was no longer valid since Cord did not form the government, remarks that angered the Ukambani legislators.

Raila has unsuccessfully vied for President in 1997, 2007 and 2013.
