"Opposition must and should follow the constitution in disbanding this commission because it is an independent commission but not holding demonstrations," said Obare.

Obare was speaking this on Monday during the official opening of Nyamira TNA office in Nyamira County.

He also said that when leaders are sworn in, they pledge to protect the constitution, only for them to break their oath.

"When leaders, including this opposition were sworn in, they pledged to protect the Kenyan constitution, how come now they don't respect it by demanding to disband an independent commission which is fully supported by the constitution?", he asked.

He also urged youths not to be used by selfish leaders who use them for their gains and not uplifting their social economical standards.
