The Coalition of Reformed Democracy (CORD) is on the Independent Electoral Boundaries Commission (IEBC) neck yet again.
The party wants the IEBC to give it information concerning the verification process of the Okoa Kenya signatures.
The coalition led by the opposition leader, Raila Odinga said IEBC should give out the information before the end of the week.
Last week, the coalition matched to anniversary towers to meet with IEBC officials who were not found. CORD wanted to know how far the IEBC had gone in the verification of the signatures.
The fact that the officials who were to hear the case were not there, angered the coalition who accused the IEBC of working to ensure that the move to save Kenya through the Okoa Kenya signatures did not succeed. The coalition said the constitution had never specified if the signatures should have been in manual form.
The IEBC had earlier said it had told CORD that its officials will not make it to attend the meeting because the set meeting date was the last day of the voter registration exercise which ended last week on Monday. This comes as forces from Jubilee, CORD and KANU parties to call on the disbarment of the IEBC.
