Macharia and Prime Trancity Sacco Ltd have filed  a petition for damages of her vehicle which was torched two weeks ago during Cord's anti-IEBC demo.

Cord principals Raila Odinga, Moses Wetangula and Kalonzo Musyoka have however questioned the court's jurisdiction in determining the case saying it amounts to an abuse of court process.

The Cord defence team further urged that the perpetrators of the criminal act should be held responsible rather than giving out a blank judgement on Cord principals.

The case will be before High Court Judge Joseph Onguto on Monday.

The incident had caused an uproar a few weeks ago when members of the public took the remains of the torched vehicle at Raila's personal office at the Capital Hill building in Upper Hill.
