Machakos Senator Johnston Muthama has been on the front line appealing to the opposition coalition affiliate parties to unite and form a strong political party, which will square it out with Jubilee in the 2017 general election.

His sentiment has been reiterated by the Kisumu MCAs, who urged the Cord principals to deliberate on how they will form a strong political force.

Kisumu County nominated MCA Lydia Odhiambo said that it was time for opposition to change tact in the way they play their politics.

“Let us change tact on how we play our game and see whether we will score more goals,” said Odhiambo.

Her nominated counterpart Farida Salim also called on the Cord coalition to counter attack the newly formed Jubilee Alliance Party by forming a stronger and united single party.
