The Cord coalition is headed for a smooth party flagship after Kalonzo Musyoka eased his stand on the 2017 general elections.
Speaking during a morning show on a local television station, the Wiper party leader noted that he does not have any uncontrollable thirst for power and so he is willing to rally behind anyone in the opposition that will be endorsed.
In what critics see as the power of desperation, Kalonzo publicly announced his decision just days after ODM leader, Raila Odinga trashed a MoU signed just months before the 2013 presidential elections. In the past weeks, Kenyan social media platforms have been flooded with speculations that Kalonzo was headed for the Jubilee coalition, a fact that he strongly discarded as baseless.
During the morning breakfast show, Kalonzo was also quoted saying that he would rather drop out of the presidential race than make an entry to Jubilee coalition.
