Omar stated that Sonko is a good speaker especially during campaigns where he attracts a massive number of supporters to rallies organised by the ruling coalition.

He stated that recent 'acting president' remarks by Sonko should not be used against him.

"Sonko is a good speaker and member in Jubilee. Despite his remarks, he is an able leader who has the capability to influence people to vote for Jubilee. His acting president remarks should not be taken that serious since Sonko has personal reasons why he had to claim himself to be the acting president. If Jubilee mistreats Sonko they will suffer a blow ahead of the 2017 polls," said Omar.

Omar who is also the Wiper party secretary general said that Sonko's funny remarks attract a massive of the people on social media which later gains him popularity in politics.

Omar was speaking on Monday morning during an interview with KTN news.
