Kisii Prof Willie Onkoba has warned the opposition to be wary of Jubilee merger and up their 2017 game plan.
He said Jubilee is pushing their tactics way far to ensure no fallout and total commitment from their affiliates and supporters.
“Jubilee is putting their last effort to garner more votes and consolidate their party something the opposition should look into," said Onkoba.
He said this should be a reason enough to worry Cord as Jubilee are pushing to consolidate votes in the coming general election saying the recent fallout in Cord should be taken seriously and addressed.
He said Cord should get more serious and pick their presidential candidate then think of a good strategy to unseat Jubilee in 2017.
He said Jubilee is using massive resources to remain in power and the opposition should think twice otherwise it will cost them the presidency.
“It is not about what Jubilee does, whether it is buying Cord leaders but what Cord is doing to get to power. They don’t have much time and should up their game if they want to compete with Jubilee who has shown their willingness and the far they can go to remain in power," he said.
