Cord supporters have reacted angrily to the way the police conducted themselves during the demonstrations.
They claim the government is using police to frustrate their move to seek justice.
“We are peaceful demonstrators who want nothing more but the disbandment of the current IEBC officials. We have not come to run battles with the police who on the other hand are frustrating our efforts to seek justice for a free and fair election,” said Paul Ochoke.
They have lamented on the harassment and now they want the national government to take responsibility.
“The police are supposed to protect Wananchi not beat them up when they are trying to advocate for their rights," said Onderi Dennis.
"This is very wrong and very unfortunate of the people expected to guard our rights," he said.
“A number of our brothers and sisters have been harassed and beaten up by the police but we are not going to give up on the fight for our right," said Ben Osorio.
"We want a free and fair elections come 2017 and the only way to ensure that is, is for the IEBC to resign and go home,” he added.
