Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (Cord)  leaders have said that they will soon release a dossier on how the 2013 elections were  allegedly rigged by the IEBC in favour of Jubilee.

On Sunday during their Machakos prayer rally,  Cord leaders Raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka and Moses Wetangula maintained that the 2013 elections were rigged by Jubilee.

The leaders said that they will make the dossier public even as they seek to have IEBC commissioners sent home.

“We have a dossier that will show Kenyans how Jubilee rigged the 2013 general elections,” Raila Odinga said.

Odinga said that IEBC cannot be trusted to conduct another election.

“These people (IEBC) are not trustworthy to conduct the 2017 elections and they all must go home,” he added.

Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka said that Cord won the 2013 elections but were shortchanged by Jubilee.

Cord has been claiming that IEBC favored Jubilee in 2013 elections, claims the electoral agency has vehemently denied.

On several occasions, IEBC chairman Isaac Hassan has been asking Cord to provide evidence that the 2013 elections were rigged.

Cord is now pushing for the disbandment of IEBC saying it is not fit to conduct another election.

Already a joint parliamentary committee has been formed with members from both Cord and Jubilee to look into the issues surrounding the IEBC.

The committee is expected to give a report and recommendations in 30 days once it starts its hearings.

Over the weekend a section of Jubilee leaders accused Cord of not being serious on the IEBC matters.

The leaders led by Senate majority leader Kithiki Kindure claimed that Cord was delaying the IEBC talks so that the 2017 elections can be postponed.
