Cord announced on Wednesday that it will name the team that will lead talks with the Jubilee government over IEBC on Thursday.
The coalition's Co-Principal Raila Odinga said the five-member team will hold talks with the team from the Jubilee side as from Friday on how to send the IEBC commissioners home.
Mr Odinga was speaking at Uhuru Park Nairobi where he addressed a rally.
The former Prime Minister added that if the talks are not initiated by Monday, then they will continue with their weekly demonstration to eject the IEBC commissioners out of office.
"Following deliberations, we will be unveiling our team. We expect Jubilee to follow suit and for negotiations to begin at the earliest convenience," he said.
He added: "If there are no talks by Monday, we will go to the streets. We want peace and we are telling police that no law bars demonstrations."
